we're a hamden, ct bagel shop on whitney ave — the whitneyville corner between spring glen and east rock. most mornings we're feeding neighbors walking over from whitneyville and spring glen, folks driving down from mount carmel, centerville and quinnipiac university, and commuters cutting through from new haven and north haven on route 10. if you're anywhere in southern new haven county, we're a short drive.

we're at 2406 whitney ave, hamden, ct 06518 — on the whitneyville stretch of whitney ave, a few minutes north of the new haven line and just south of spring glen.
how do i get there from new haven?
take whitney ave (route 10) north out of east rock — about 8 minutes. we're on your right once you pass the whitneyville shops.
how do i get there from the merritt parkway or i-91?
from i-91, take exit 10 to route 40 west, then whitney ave (route 10) south toward mount carmel and centerville. from wilbur cross parkway (route 15), take exit 60 and follow dixwell to whitney ave.
is there parking?
yes — free parking in the lot behind our shop, plus free street parking along whitney ave and the side streets. no meters, no permits.
is it easy with a stroller or wheelchair?
the entrance is street level from the lot behind the shop, and the counter is a straight walk in. it's takeout-first, so you're in and out.
can i order ahead and skip the line?
yes. order ahead, then walk up to the counter and grab your bag. we bake through the morning, so mornings are freshest.
